Counseling experiences are as varied as the human beings who seek them. You may stride in with confidence, ready to tackle what’s holding you back. Or you may come cautiously through my office door, experiencing some fear of the unknown. Either way, we will take this journey together. We may struggle a little, play a little, dance around or delve right into the issues of your life. In the counseling process, we will reveal and address your core concerns. As that happens, things start to work a little better in your life. You feel lighter. The pieces mesh in a new way. Long-held problems seem a little different than you thought. What you had stopped hoping for or didn’t know how to hold onto, now begins to happen. Not magically or immediately, but as the result of work, understanding and purpose.
Not every therapist is right for every client. If the fit is not right, I’ll help you find the appropriate professional. I know many good ones in Santa Fe and elsewhere. If we are a good fit, we will arrange subsequent appointments. If payment is an issue we will negotiate and explore some options. Insurance sometimes covers some costs.
I hope to meet you and get to know you, either in person or by phone. Tell me your concerns, and I will do my best as a therapist to help you become your best self: more fully alive, more balanced, more deeply rooted, more expansive, more oriented to your meaning, more free to be authentic.
We’ll find your resilience; renew, restore and build upon your strengths.
